Privacy Policy

We take privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Effective date: April 21, 2026

Overview

LeagueForge provides league and tournament management tools for organizers and players. We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service. Public discovery features are designed to be privacy‑first.

Information we collect

  • Account information (e.g., name, email) when you create an account.
  • League/tournament data entered by organizers (settings, schedules, results, formats).
  • Player participation data (e.g., roster membership, match participation) as part of league/tournament operations.
  • Contact form submissions (name, email, message) when you contact us.
  • Technical data such as IP address, device/browser info, and logs for security and troubleshooting.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Please avoid including sensitive personal details in messages.

How we use information

  • Provide and operate LeagueForge features (scheduling, standings, brackets, notifications).
  • Process organizer configurations and player participation within leagues/tournaments.
  • Maintain service security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Respond to support requests and communications.
  • Improve product performance and usability.

Public listings & privacy

LeagueForge includes an Explore directory that lists only leagues/tournaments explicitly marked PUBLIC by organizers. Explore is designed to avoid exposing player identities. Public listings may display high‑level event details (e.g., format, entry fee, experience level) while sensitive details remain gated.

Cookies and analytics

LeagueForge may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and protect the service. If we use analytics, it will be used to understand site performance and improve the experience.

Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help operate the platform (e.g., hosting/email), under appropriate safeguards.
  • When required to comply with law, legal process, or enforce our policies.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of LeagueForge, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Organizers may maintain historical seasons/tournaments for record‑keeping.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Your choices

  • You can update your account information within the app.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
  • Organizers control whether an event is listed as PUBLIC in Explore.

Children’s privacy

LeagueForge is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.
